May I say (and not in a shy way) that Frank "Ol' Blue Eyes" Sinatra was definetly was one of the greatest people of all time. He was such a great singer that he sold out wherever he went. People went nuts when he appeared. I decided to write this piece after reading his biography. I left out some details to let you imagine the rest. Finally knowing his story inspired me to be myself no matter what everyone thinks.
Hence the saying "He did it his way."

Santino, I LOVE your poem! There are some punctuation errors, like how there aren't commas or periods or any punctiation at the ends of the lines besides one..
ReplyDeleteI know that you love music, and I love that you wrote a poem about something you have a big interest in. The poem was really great :)
This is a great poem! I agree with katie that there were a few punctuation errors, but it has a great general idea! I think maybe you could broaden your ideas and get more descriptive in your content, but keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThis piece being scarce of some key details (and not at all in a bad way) leaves most of the story being told up to us as the readers. This is very imaginative and respectful due to the fact that you wrote about a man you admire. Very well done.
ReplyDeleteI love how even though this is about a specific person you included a kind of moral in it too, "he did it his way.. The poem has a really nice flow and the rhymes aren't forced. You should try to add another stanza!
