This is the fifth chapter in my ongoing story Cross Slash. The story follows Vincent Redwood a young man who fell victim to pirate attacks along the coast of England where his parents die in a fire. Vincent is driven by revenge and it is the only thing keeping him going. His persistence to kill the man responsible, a notorious pirate captain known as "Scythe", will draw him into a world full of pirates, brotherhoods, carnage, and death. At the center of it all a conspiracy involving the highest level of power in this 17th century setting. In the last chapter the main character struggled over his damaged sword and body, but found now has found a new adventure on the sea. What lies in store now for our tortured main character, read ahead and find out.

Wow Vaugn this was a very interesting chapter. It sounds like it goes together with a great book. I would love to read that book and see if it is as good as this chapter suggests it is. I really liked how you used sofisticated words and good description. It really made the story a lot more interesting to read. I hope you continue writing and pursue this artistic talent.
