Unable to Fly

This is a poem I wrote about a depressed penguin who wishes it could fly with all the other birds. I had no inspiration for this piece. I was just thinking of how a penguin might feel about being a flightless bird. I would like my poem to be blessed. Hope you like it!

  1. Sophie, I really liked the poem. I think it perfectly says how a penguin might feel since it can't fly. I know it wouldn't be a good feeling, and you showed that. Good job!

  3. I absolutely loved how you wrote the poem in an animal's point of view! It was a nice rhyming scheme and wasn't to confusing to read or to short to forget.
